An Ode to the Cheese



The Kingdom of Cheese is a strange old place
Some eat to savour and some to fill their face
The Stinking Bishop
The Port Salut
There are even variations with veins so blue
There's so many to look at so many to see
Fresh, washed-rind and soft-ripened to name but three
Natural-rind
Cooked and uncooked, pressed
And not forgetting the dreaded processed
So journey with me and let’s taste and see
that there's more to this than just
"mouldy old cheese"
